June 24, 2010 -- On Mondays and Thursdays between 9am and 3pm, from July though September, Oberlin residents will be able to call on the Lorain County Transit to pick them up and take them on errands. The connector service will start on July 5 as part of a three-month pilot program started by the city and several social service organizations, including Oberlin Community Services. Monday bus service will be for Oberlin only; Thursdays will be for trips to Elyria (first and third Thursdays of the month) and Lorain (second and fourth Thursdays).
