Oberlin Community Services relies on the help of community members in order to run smoothly. There are two main programs for which we need volunteers, Meals on Wheels, and our monthly Food Distribution. If you would like to volunteer for either of these programs, call 774-6579.
Meals on Wheels
Although the Allen Community Medical Center makes the meals, we need people
to deliver them. There are two routes for the Oberlin area so we need
two drivers every day. Drivers provide their own vehicle, but can be reimbursed
for gas. Driving a route will take no longer then an hour and a half,
but is expected to take about an hour. If you would like to be a regular
driver, or just a substitute, please call Oberlin Community Services at
774-6579. Without your help there is no program.

Food Distribution
Food distribution occurs on the second Saturday of every month. People can come to Oberlin Community Services from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm for food. Clients can come EVERY month in order to get food.
We need volunteers to help with both the packing of food and distribution. Packing usually occurs the Friday before distribution from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. We also need people to help distribute food on the Saturday of distribution from 10:15 am to 1:00 pm. If you would like to volunteer for either of these activities call 440-774-6579.
