2026 Rides to Support the OCS Food Pantry
This year’s Pedal for the Pantry fundraiser will be held Saturday, April 25, starting and ending at the Cooper Community Resource Center, 500 E. Lorain St., Oberlin. Long distance cyclist Charlotte McGowan invites the community to join one or both of the TWO rides planned this year so that more people can get involved!
• The FAMILY RIDE will start at 9 a.m. This 3-mile ride along the Oberlin bike path is intended for all ages. It will take about one hour.
• The TEAM OCS RIDE will start at 10:30 a.m. This 20-mile ride along the Oberlin bike path is intended for teens and adults. It will take about 90-120 minutes.
The goal of both rides is to get the community excited and involved in supporting the OCS food pantry, which provides food to 350 to 400 families each week — that’s nearly 7,500 unique people throughout the year!
There is no fee to ride, but cyclists are asked to donate any amount to OCS. You can also get friends, family, and coworkers to support OCS by donating to the ride!
